Va. was no big deal but I do think the win in NJ could show Repub a way to win some of their lost seats back. Both in Va. and NJ. the Republican winner played down anything even looking like the right wing of the party.

In upstate NY the Rep. was suppose to win and lost. This should tell them something about beating the utra conservative drums in other than hard core Red states but I do not think they can help themselves they am who they am.

Obama did not get out the vote but he wasn't running and NJ Gov. was a former Wall Street guy and that didnt help him at all.

But the big thing here is not who won or lost it is the Gov. and the system of a Demorcratic Republic was the means to express the will of the people. Not a militery junta like LD wants or threatens when he losses. If folks in Va. and NJ want to elect a Repub. hoping that happy days will now come to them that is what the Gov. has protected the right of its people to be able to do. The system those on the right are so afraid of works pretty well.

Instead of finding excuses or critism of the will of the people I say that the people have spoken in all 3 of those election and I hope that Va. and NJ get what they have voted unto themselves and that the new Demo seat in Congress will also reflect the will of the people. Not perfect and we the people do indeed make mistakes (GW BUSH being a great example of a mistake) but we live to vote again or we don't.
