Think on this:

If the government can mandate you to get health insurance, then it can mandate anything and everything for you to buy.

If GM and Chrysler are needing money to stay alive, what is to stop the government from mandating that you buy a GM or Chrysler automobile? Nothing.

The government is doing more than mandating a purchase of a product, but is forcing you to purchase a product for someone else. Is this what you wanted? The government has your ass in a sling providing food, clothing, and shelter to a group of people who did everything they could NOT to succeed. Everything.

Some of you hate the politics. I understand that but guess what? Politics affects economies. You happen to be the economy. Everything you do is part of the economy. Every purchase or investment drives the engine of economy. How much of your earning power has been limited because our government thought it would be so much more important to give a small section of society your money so they can get a pack of smokes and a lottery ticket?

Now they want to attack you even further. Yes, attack is the word. Are you a gun owner? Guess what? Guns are detrimental to your health. Think the liberals won't find a way to disarm you in the interest of health? Think again. Take a good look at the states around you. How many of them have anti-smoking laws? Now I am not a smoker but if you are, that is your business.

How many of these "freedom-loving" liberals went out of their way not only to limit your smoking but also assaulted the very businesses that catered to you? Then they tax you for your choice and made it personal. They attacked business owners and forced them to either shut down or take a loss in income which meant people got laid off.

A group of council men in Chicago decided by fiat that no person in Chicago could eat Foie Gras. Why? Because one councilman didn't like it. Think on this. One person dictated to an entire city what they cannot eat.
