One reason FPO is a good stock is its properties locations in the Washington, DC, VA, Baltimore area. When there is government, there is demand.

When it's Republicans, it is war and oil.

When it's Democrats it's more focused on things like health care and other basic human needs but still the same demand for real estate.

One unusual change in the DC / Baltimore are is increased military due to base closings in other geographica locations.... that resulted in a large move into Maryland bases such as Ft. Mead (Balt/Laurel and vicinity).
