institutional holdings help but dont reflect stock price, lots of unsuccessful companies have institutional investors doesnt mean there stocks are going through the roof, and every share holder of any company thinks there stock has potential if not they wouldnt buy it or would short it hopes and dreams only go so far, what the hedgies think and growth and revenue is what wall street looks for. Cramer may not be right most of the time but he also has a national TV show if you dont think the CEO going on the show effects anything you would be surprised, his audience may be future investors.
