I read the scenarios of the possible value of Exel. Those scenarios I don't have knowledge of.I can add: I worked for a small Bio Tech co. that Bayer bought out several yrs. ago. The price paid was close to $30 a share. The co. had only one drug candidate in the pipeline and it was not a publicly traded stock.Bayer wanted the technology. I believe part of the value also included a dollar amount for the machinery involved.Consider, just one Applied Bio machine alone can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. So it seems to me a value needs to include the technical knowledge Exel has, and isn't there a value placed on retaining some of the brain power and physical property? There is a vastly greater amount of all those things than the co. Bayer bought out.
