In recent weeks many semi stocks have pre-announced higher 3rd Q sales and earnings. Given this news and news out of CIEN, stronger networking and telecom spending is part of the answer. EXAR plays in this space and should, whether they pre-annouce or not, report much better than expected Sept Q results. In addition, since new mgt took over more than a year ago, it has been their practice to under promise and over perform.
