First of all I am long on this stock and I beleive this company will take off in the future.

Second, maybe I am wrong, but I don't really consider a good stategy to announce to everybody that we will build at 2$ or 1$ x watt.

If there is something I learned about marketing in the classroom is the response of the market resulting from some change of any competitor parameter.

Regarding ESLR case, marketing says we have to be in the customer shoes. Since everybody will know Evergreen will build at lowers costs, they will want lower prices.
Moreover, competitors from now on they know the goal of Evergreen and I don't think competitors will do nothing about.

We need to remember the 5 P's of marketing:
-Product
-Price
-Place
-Promotion
-People

...and figure out that the only one it gives REVENUES to any company is Price, the rest of P's, Product, Place, Promotionm and People only impact the costs.

If the company is not able to show to the market the value added of its products compared to others (I mentioned this point in previews posts as ESLR not accomplished key point), the company will not be able to keep same prices than before. So they will need to sale at lower prices, then gross margin will not increase significantly.

Conclusion: I little discretion will be a good element for company strategy.
