I made money on EOG yesterday. I'd shorted it late the prior afternoon and decided to cover it on the morning dip. Today I re-shorted at a higher level, though not the highest of this morning. I'm wondering if the move up this morning is partly shorts who expected a worse report and are anxious to get out. I only shorted 100 shares this morning and haven't decided if it's worth being short any more of EOG. It's not a buy here IMHO. 75 was a buy, not 89+, IMHO. Selling at 85 wasn't the best move in light of today's price, but IMHO selling at 85 was better than buying at 89+.
