Commision: $60 Profits from only the calls: $3575 Commision percentage: 1.6% But you are confusing the "sell covered calls" garbage--with which I agree with you--with taking some additional profits when you want to buy/sell a stock. If I want to cover ELX at $10, why not sell puts @ 10 and get more money. The risk I take is that the stock shoots up. That's fine with me--I'm not worried about that in the least, and if it stays above $10, I can sell puts again next month. Rating :
