To those that have followed stock for many years and those that do DD, it will come as no surprise that the company is very well organized for a change in management. Many of key patent holders work for company today still. Top sales management is not "new" or unfamiliar with products and customers. Fact that much of Echelon products are sold by VARS lessens impact of CEO change, even losing one as visionary as Ken Oshman. The company is on firm footing for taking advantage of it's superior technology as the worldwide incentives and mandates for energy efficiency add a huge push to Echelon practically guaranteeing it's future success. Of course it is not a good thing to lose Oshman, but the management team is very strong and has plenty to work with going forward already in place. ELON stock may or may not take a hit short term, but those with vision of their own will take the opportunity to buy more shares and stock will move forward as contracts are announced.
