I talked to them about what they are doing with the waste from the digester's and what they are doing with it.
They are selling it to a company that makes compost. My guess EPG is not getting much for the waste now(few dollars a ton). Seems the IR guy knew nothing about Biochar and what it could be used for. He did know about the company Rentech and their gassifies system so he is not stupid.
EPG could double their sales making Biochar from their facility's and in turn give back to the cow farmers. They could use the biochar in their fields increasing yields and cut their costs of fertilizer usage by up to 50%.
It would be a win win for EPG to get into the biochar business.
The volume spike today could be from the biochar tip I gave them two days ago. $3 a ton for waste or up to $600 a ton for Biochar. When you take organic matter and turn it into biochar it works out to be 1/3 of the original weight before it is turned into biochar.
3 tons of waste from the digester would = 1 ton of biochar.

Biochar is the only carbon negative product in the world.
