The Board of Directors as always controls this company. And why should they liquidate and give the cash to shareholders? The original shareholders who paid money into the IPO are no longer around! So why should a secondary buyer of the stock get a huge windfall by having all the cash given back?

YOU DON'T DESERVE THE RETAINED EARNINGS AND WILL NOT GET IT. If the company is sold to another, ten the NEW BUYER gets that money on the balance sheet - NOT YOU.
