The state of Pennsylvania passed Act 129 into law. This idiotic legislation mandates that electric utilities reduce their customers' demand for electricity by something like 1% by 2013 and 3% by 2015 or be subject to fines. I may be off on my percentages and dates, but this is akin to requiring oil companies to improve gas mileage in cars. Our nation is being governed by elitest power brokers that are so far removed from main stream America that I'm afraid there is no turning back.
