Something I've never understood     31-Oct-09 08:43 pm
Why do utility companies spend so much time encouraging their customers to use less energy? Is it because they run near capacity and can't currently easily expand their generation capacity? Or is it because they are highly regulated, and need to stay "in-the-good" with the political class? Or is it some other reason?
