The so-called $9.15 hedges expired last month – the average North American gas well needs $ 7.79 – Nymex NG prices for this winter are barely above $ 5.00.
Encana sells their NG production below NYMEX average prices. At these prices Encana and Cenovus can not continue to pay out 1.2 billion in yearly dividends without incurring more debt. Rating :
