<description><![CDATA[no this cef does not.   on the web site you will notice that for prior yrs distributions were characterized as ordinary taxable income   alas this mlp fund does not give the shareholder the tax benefits of mlp ownership such as other cef mlp funds   KYN , FMO.   just finished talking on phone w/ First Trust & frankly I'm leery of thier lack of transparency.   seems this fund is liquidating itself as we speak.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Thanks for that info.   FEN's not doing too well but just reflects the MLP market which seems to be going down, at least the ones I follow. TYY looks interesting.   The yield is similar to FEN's.   FEN is down about 10% from its recent high.   I'm looking at BMY too in the drug group.]]></description>
