Actually I strongly dislike people who say "strong buy" for DTE in Oct 2006 because it is a likely takeover target. No takeover and a lower stock price. These types of recommendations show a lack of awareness of the Michigan economy. Who would take over a high-cost utility with a recessionary economy? Who would make such a silly suggestion? Who would fail to apologize to DTE investors for leading them astray?

My deceased grandmother could have invested in CDs in 2006 and vastly outperformed this recommendation.
