Actually, in my opinion, any type of partnership that would be created now would probably be a negative rather than a positive. My reasoning is that anything DRRX has to sell would have to be sold at a discount because there is nothing in their pipeline that would be considered a sure thing. Any potential partner is going to pay a hell of a lot less for phase II product than they would a phase III product....and a phase III product is going to go for a lot less than an FDA approved product.
As you know, DRRX only has one product that is even close to approval and look how cheap they sold that way back when. The world is a lot different today than it was when KG bought (and some might say foolishly) the rights to Remoxy from PTIE. Those type of deals don't bring in nearly the money today that they used to. I've owned DRRX for probably 6 or 7 years. When I bought it I figured it was one of those things you put in a drawer and one day, may find it to have serious value. During this time there were several instances where I thought the pay off was imminent but it was more wishful thinking on my part than anything else. I don't want to say you are wasting your time worrying and analyzing daily price movements; but you are looking for something, and sometimes finding it. When in fact, it doesn't really exist at all. DRRX's path to shareholder's riches is to get Remoxy approved. They then become a little more viable because they have a significant revenue stream. Once that happens they could sit down and negotiate future partnerships for future products as more of an equal. If any of them hit the jackpot, then we hit the jackpot. I don't think that DRRX has the management strength to develop and commercialize some of their future products on their own so it is a win-win if and when they do form a partnership. It is really that simple. Until then, put your shares of DRRX someplace safe and if you want to analyze daily chart patterns and decision points get something that is active and has some volume. I've always been partial to gold and currencies but there are hundreds of things to chose from. Of course, this is all just my opinion. I could be whistling in the wind and it wouldn't be the first time. Rating :
