Another way for D&B to increase prices, short term contracts and pull revenue forward.

In regards to Steven Alexander's article that DNB will reach 100 I disagree. DNB is definitely trending down. The only way DNB is making those margins is by reducing headcount and expense. They have not had any real sales increase in the past several years. DNB has been losing customers year over year and the only way they have increase sales has been through price increases.

DNB is also not the cash cow it once was. Senior leadership has been funneling a significant amount of the profits out of the company. Most of the positives on the income statement have been growth through the effect of foreign exchange or through M&A (None of which have preformed as well as could be expected).

In addition to poor sales performance & poor choices for M&A, DNB data has become more and more suspect. DNB no longer has a core of reporters who validated information before it is published. All information gathering has been either outsourced to India or has become automated pulls of public information. Both of which have contributed to degrading the DNB database. Family tree information is no longer accurate and finance statements are few and far between on non public companies.

Finally in the second quarter of this year DNB was forced to reduce guidance for the first time in recent years. They have had turn over in senior and sales leadership and are no longer immune to the effect of a poor economy (A time where they once flourished). I foresee another miss in the third quarter and DNB going below 70
