"I see it going up past $50...Demand for paper will start increasing in the months and years ahead. I would just buy this and forget it."

Huh? I'm confused by the earnings release - Revenue was down 12%, and the release stated that:
"Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company said it expects lower paper volumes due to seasonal factors, as well as higher costs due to planned maintenance shutdowns. It also said the strengthening of the Canadian dollar will hurt profits at its Canadian mills. Its papers segment is expected to gain from recently announced price increases, Domtar said."

Why is that good news? Where does demand for paper increase after the December Holidays going into Q1 of 2010? Can price increases really offset the drop in volume next year? IP had a very similar quarter - huge profits driven by a giant tax credit, and their stock got punished last week after a big pop.
