I've noticed that Bank of America has been upgrading their ATM's to newer models of late. When you make a deposit (cash or check) you do not need to put the $$ in an envelope. You simply insert the check into the ATM and it records an image of the check and prints it out on the receipt. With currency, you simply insert the bills into the ATM and it counts them for you. Perhaps the next great invention would be to have an ATM which counts change for you. That would be phenomenal and incredibly convenient. Maybe it's in the works already. Seems like anything technological is possible nowadays.
