I kind of like the show. I find myself rooting for the Japanese, hoping they will get up the nerve to send the Sea Shephard to the bottom. I don't think the producers are going out of their way to dispel the anti- sea shepherd sentiment, though i don't think the pro-sea shepherd people even see it. Pretty ingenious of the Whale-War's producers really.
