As I pointed out in January, the company is profitable on an Ebitda basis. But they don't even make the cash flow statement available in their press release so it would be clear. Most companies talk about their profit on an operating basis. Deswell makes it difficult to figure out that they are making money! Notice that the total amount of cash increased by about $6 million this quarter, and will increase another $7 million in November when the property sale closes. That will put them at $2.25 a share in cash, on a $3.50 stock. Kind of silly. There is just nothing surprising here.
