While an acquisition offer is always a possibility, climb in share price and volume could simply be one investor recognizing the stock is fundamentally undervalued. While your $6 to $8 per share estimate may be toward the optimistic end of DataWatch's current intrinsic value, a $3.50 to $4.50 share price is easily supported by the financials.

DataWatch has introduced a series of new products over the last twelve months but selling them in a global economic collapse has been tough. At the same time Ken Bero and team have implemented a much leaner business model. If the recovering global economy generates a ramp up in Monarch sales, and that is a very plausible scenario, then the increasing revenues and positive cash flow could support your $6-$8 target. If the momentum continues over 12-24 months the price target could be higher.

Datawatch was dirt cheap in the $1+ range. It is still dirt cheap in the $2+ range.

Good luck to everyone.
