taken notice, See NY Times link about true unemployment of 17.5%. It has not hit botton yet. Right now 1 in 7 people that wants to be employed full time are not. 1 in 7, that means the other 6 of us (that is if everyone here is employed) are carrying the load. If we continue to loose workers as is expected to 20% (true) then how can the economy expand? Less employed means less comsumer buying power. The banks are tightning credit so those unemployed can not pile on debt and those employed need to conserve. The only way the stock market can go is DOWN, maybe not Monday but the clock is ticking.
