The first hint that I see this weekend that this recent rally is about to peter out is the slow stochastics on the Dow Transportation index... it is just beginning to show some weakness. Most other (short-term) indicators are still bullish.

The transports are widely regarded as the leader for the major induces, so if they continue to weaken going into next week then the other induces should soon follow.

So, is it different this time? Nobody can be sure until (after) we see the S&P take a Hail Mary nose-dive from the high platform, slice right through the 1020 water line & slam head first into the 975 concrete at the bottom of the pool; but the signals that it is different this time are piling up fairly quickly.
