I definitely understand having a healthy level of skepticism, but the way I see it even if you just lay Dalian's earnings on top of Ankang's, this quarter should be huge. Any additional income as a result of synergies is icing on the cake.

But to be clear, I do believe that there are significant synergies. Ankang has primarily been involved with rice, but with the aquisition of the Xiaoxinganling trademark last year, they expanded into soybeans, kidney beans, and mushrooms. At the time of the aquisition last year, Dalian's focus was on soybeans, corn, and cereal crops. I can't think of any reason why their products would be mutually exclusive with Ankang's. My take on it is that Dalian has the superior distribution channel, so it should be as simple as pushing Ankang's products through Dalian's channel but it could just as easily work the other way too.
