I have been a customer of Partner (PTNR) since they were founded over 13 years ago and left them after getting very bad customer service. I moved all my business to cellcom about 6 months ago. Recently I purchased a wireless modem for internet access for a family member as a gift. After much difficult i learned that there is poor reception in the area that i wanted to use the modem and called up a customer rep of the company and was told I can return the product for a refund. When I got to the service center I discovered that no record was made of the phone call in the center hency they refused to take the modem back. (cost aprox 120$) The young service rep's were rude and made me feel as if I was under cross examination in a murder trial.
Everyone knows that a company that has bad customer service will not be able to sustain growth for a long time and as soon as a competitor comes along people will leave any company that has treated them in a manner they feel is wrong. There are new technologies being developed every year in addition to the local israel market being very competitive and soon a new player will be added that will crush the existing cellular providors by providing greater savings to new customers. When my service contract runs out in one year I will be the first one to tell cellcom good-bye because of they way my matter was handled. Now I have to take them the small claims for 120$ and convince a judge that i cant use the modem they sold me. Now who in their right mind would buy stock in a company that is not customer service oriented and that doesnt look one step ahead before making such a decision? When the time comes they will lose me as a customer and who knows how many others will take their business else where given the right opportunity? This company like many other israel companies that dont know the meaning of service are doomed to fail.
