You're better than most if you know when to sell at the top. Personally, I just crunch the numbers and determine what's fair value. Then I wait to until the company trades at a safe margin from fair value and then buy. If it gets above fair value, sell. Yes, I leave some money occasionally but I don't have to worry about identifying a top.
