The drilling rig ( cyclone 22) just left this well several days ago. the well is located in Section 31 of T146N, R89 W. the permit number is 17877 if you look at a ND road map it is located approx 8 miles north of Golden Valley ND, and 1 mile south of ND highway 1806.
The interest in this well is it is a wildcat and is located quite far east of other producing Bakken wells. IF this well is successful it could greatly expand the CLR acerage..
Earnings for the 3rd qtr should come out approx first week of Nov.. i think by then they should be some word on the progress of this well..
the other recent well near this site was drilled by XTO, it is located approx 4 miles to the sw and was a huge water producer, with no oil.. this well is shut in and inactive..
