Anyway, the new quarter is on the co website. This is old news at this point but the info is so obscured maybe no one here knows.

my amateur impressions

.21 earnings but perhaps the quality is less than in the past.

IMHO reserves are a tad skimpy - NPAs up more than allowances.

Allowance for loan losses to total loans
1.02 vs 1.00 2Q (% of assets)

Nonperforming assets to total loans and other real estate
3.98 vs 3.29 2Q (% of assets)

Also interesting to note that the recent FDIC premium increases are in the same ballpark as earnings. Perhaps I'm too optimistic but when those eventually normalize back to pre-crisis levels it should provide a nice tailwind to earnings.
