If you also listened to the Orasure CC at 5PM EST, you might have thought you were listening to the Chembio CC at 4:15 EST all over again.

The Hearing on litigation between Inverness and Orasure was postponed again until January...also, it looks like Orasure is positioning itself to come to market first with HIV OTC and HCV. They listed their strong brand recognition as a key to not losing a single HIV OraQuick customer as they converted their sales model to a direct model.

At first blush, Chembio doesn't appear to be growing their marketshare at the expense of Orasure. I would say that the Market Pie is getting bigger for everyone.
