If held in an IRA, there actually are forms to have filled out by custodian, if you want to recoup taxes paid when in an IRA. We did this several years ago, when there were large cap gains. Also, there are basis adjustments upward, for taxes paid in non-iras. I no longer hold the stock, but continue to watch for a possible entry in the future.
