However, according to Yahoo Finance (look under the "insider transactions" link when you bring up a CSS quote), his last automatic sale was in March 2008.

Yes, that's right, his automatic sale plan was inactive for about 1 1/2 years! In the SEC Form 4 filed on August 26, the footnote (in very small print) discloses that the current automatic sale plan was adopted August 21, 2009. Yes, he started a new sale plan less than two months ago.

Let's recap the action -- his daughter, Ellen Kurtzman/Farber, was selling relentlessly from late May 2009 through August 28, 2009. Daddy started selling August 25, 2009. Essentially, once his daughter was done, it was Daddy's turn to sell.

To spell this out more simply, when his daughter was nearly done selling, he instituted a 10b5 plan to begin selling. Look at the last date of Ellen's sale and the date daddy started his new 10b5 plan.

Does anyone now doubt my previous assertion that Mr. Farber was being a good father by letting his daughter get out first?

Mr. Farber isn't selling tons of stock, probably because he knows that doing so would kill the price. The issue is whether the plan gets him out of enough stock before CSS reports which, I suspect, will be dismal.
