In my opinion the strategy of keeping as many stores as possible and sparsely stocking them due to limited liquidity is stupid. Both Pier 1 and Trader Joes stores are so well stocked one practically stumbles over the inventory making it difficult to exit without buying something. Why won't these guys close enough stores so that the remaining ones can be well stocked and in line with revenue expectations. It would also be nice if they could offer products the customer wants.
