I had a hard time with it too. But you know what? That is how Jim Sinegal is. He is sensitive to "the people" (unlike our politicians!) People on food stamps must also pay membership fees.... Same $$ amount. either 50.00 or 100.00....will standards go down? absolutley not. Cost is a GREAT place either to shop or to work!
