I hope as a continuing short player that the "see no evil, hear no evil' bulld keep pumping up the "bubble". Today? The bulls know it is criticat to "mute" the 10.2% headline number for the weekend. But the double-dip or worse secenerio is pretty much a forgone conclusion as we get into 2010. Jobs, jobs and jobs make this country run. Period. This is an economy 72% dependent on consumer spending. And "binge" spending at that. Corporate America is getting their bottom line done on "productivity". The American worker is seeing none of the benefits. None. Wages have regressed. And together with weekly hours worked stagnant,it is now just a matter of time before the "gimmicks" sustaining the artificial support of the economy no longer can be effective. The Govebnment isn;t going to take the "training wheels" off. They are going to fall off. And then the real expose of what kind of shape we are in becomes obvious. Bulls? Just keep buying into the delusion of "things are improving". Any reasonable analysis tells you that it isn't "smoke and mirrors". You need a mirror for that. We are in my analysis heading into a very serious economic reversal as the realities, not so much what is as what isn't,becomes scarily to the forefront. The American working class and subsequent consumer is finished for several years to come. They have been sold out, they have been burned out and now their broke. That doesn't portend well as we enter 2010. Today, the bulls will "dig" in. That's fine. But the hard facts are what they are. And they are irrefutable going forward. And the more you hear the pundits defend the indefensible the more you know the eventual conclusion. I am continuig to gather and in some instances execute the "short" side of the "game". The high decibel level of the Taunty Boy's dissing and dismissing only reinforces my convinctions. They historically are a tried and true indicator.
