In an article today on Bloomber regarding concerns that Chinese gov't stimulus efforts will result in a property bubble, the country's largest developer made this statement:

"China Vanke Co., the nation’s largest developer by market value, increased average apartment prices last month, charging 10,168 yuan per square meter, 26 percent more than a year earlier and 4 percent more than the previous month, the developer said last week."

This is roughly double the more modest property prices charged by CHLN in their upper-middle class Xi'an units (about 5,000 yuan per sq. meter). Much less danger of a property bubble in Xi'an than in th inflated Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen markets. We're in good shape.
