CET's put out its performance #s for comparison and there was both good and bad news for CET. The good news was that xCETx exceed the S & P 500 for every time measurement ftom 1 year to 20 years. Even when one takes out the padding effect of nav reinvestment @ market, the actual 5-year perf of 1.6% exceeded the S & P 500. The bad news that it still performed so poorly. For the last 10 years the bloated NAV return has hit only 4.03% which is less than that obtainable with a CD. Only in the 15 year and beyond period did the returns become more significant.
