Dangerous stock to even consider.Central has destroyed the integrity and marketplace position of almost every manufacturer they have acquired. Mismanagement and cronyism is now pointing to a collapse of Centrals distribution centers around the country. A top heavy, pathetically weak and untalented management team, led by a V.P. of sales who should spend less time at sales meetings and more time at A/A meetings,(no industry secret) remains in place despite plummeting sales over the last few years on the east coast. As competition continues to expand their facilities due to growth, Central distribution continues to downsize and consolidate. Their Florida branch has recently been forced to close down customer service and clerical operations due to continued loss of business to competition that is much more in tune with the current market. Time to take a hard look at this ineffective management team.
