I agree with you on that one. There are a number of posters who really have a burr up their butts over my complaints about a universal health care plan.

In response, I want to make this perfectly clear; I am every bit in favor of a universal health care plan as long as it only covers legal citizens and not include every third world illegal AND..... the health care plan is paid for by EVERY American getting a paycheck.

I find it disgusting that the new politically correct trend is to tax the "rich" so that everybody else benifits without having to contribute themselves.

Not everybody has kids in public schools but, we all pay school taxes. Not everybody drives a car but, we all pay to keep the roads repaired. I could go on and on.

Why then, does everybody think that it is perfectly fine that only the wealthy pay for all of the health care package for everybody else?

A very strange irony. Minimum star recs for the above comment. Except for the fact it you are an investor, you obviously hope to be wealthy some day. By minimal recs, you are basically stating that you feel the rich should be the only people to pay for healthcare for all the others.

So, what happens if you become wealthy some day, are you going to be happy to be the only group paying for services for everybody else?

Now that you are poor, you want people like me to pay for you. If you ever become affluent, I doubt you will feel the same way.
