Earnings not bad     28-Oct-09 10:55 am
The revenue miss was attributed to delays from Fed spending projects. I would have thought that some stimulus monies would be coming in, but CEO doesn't think so: stimulus has so far gone to non-technology "blue collar" projects, and they think this will continue. That's a little surprising and disappointing. CEO made it pretty clear that they are being conservative in their fourth quarter guidance in response to missing this quarter. Europe is perking up, US enterprise is still uncertain and looking a little grim.

Good positive cash flow, as usual. They expect it to continue to be positive in Q4, though not as strong. Revenue was slightly positively impacted by favorable exchange rate, so like-to-like sequential quarterly revenue comparison was 2% worse than it appears. Year-over-year, exchange rate has negatively impacted revs by 2.7%.

Overall, a blah CC--not bad, not great. Sit and wait to see what happens with the economy, I guess.
