You know, watching the common trade doesn't seem to convey more than the fact that there are a good number of day trading types in and out of CBL. But when you look at the common trade relative to the preferreds it seems clearer, at least to me, that we're seeing a search for current income. Hell that's why I'm involved, I want the dividend back.

Look at the common and the preferreds today, common flat, prefs up 6-7%. Management didn't address the 2010 dividend policy on the call other than to say they look at it quarterly. Anyone who bought today in anticipation of a 2010 dividend announcement on the call was simply a quarter too early - what company talks about the following fiscal year in Q3 anyway?

for my part, I thought it was yet another strong quarter in a really @#$%y operating environment. Sure I'd like the div back, but selling the stock here just seems stupid given the valuation, especially if its retirement money. I'll be eager to hear what management has to say next quarter.
