We see this whole energy sector being very volatile. Yet an awful lot of talking head investment strategist continue to persist with the energy sector recs. I am in today for another 100 just to get a little more on the table. When/if oil moves back to $50 and stays up there and most importantly gets some confirmation support from Nat Gas staging a rally to above $4 and stying there, then the Loonie can start to move back towards .83. This ETF has tremendous leverage. We should see $11.50 again by Oct. In the mean time perhaps we will see a dividend distribution. The Fund is in a 70% Royalty Trust rotation strategy right now and is knocking down a lot of income. I am also working the leverage on the Loonie in KYE which is only "aboot" 14% Canroys. It is @ nearly a 10% discount to NAV now with a 16% distribution. The others that should eventually work are GLHIF with recent record production and earnings in 2008 with the 8.3/6.9% distribution and the Chem-Trade CGIFF. With the cost of manufacturing resources so cheap for chemicals I think CGIFF is a risky bet alright but should start working "soon". It now looks as if the Loonie should bottom out at 75 before "they" come to their senses and realize which is the stronger economy, banking system, and ultimately better managed economy.
