Meridian Automotive Systems, which is listed as a competitor of CMT's in their 10K, went bankrupt a few weeks ago. Apparently they're a major autoparts supplier and had a customer list of GM, Ford, Volvo Truck and Freightliner. Volvo and Freightliner are the #4 and #1 truck manufacturers in the US respectively, with about 45% market share combined.

CMT does most of its business with Navistar and Paccar, the #2 and #3 North American truck manufacturers.

I wonder if CMT is taking some of the business Meridian lost. I'm certain Meridian isn't the only CMT competitor having issues.

Anyone have any insight?
