"I just hope we get decent results and then market justifies it.. Coz it hasn't been doing it for a while now"
I share the same feelings, however,I've noticed that the WHOLE market, in general, has been trying to find the ground.Since mid-September.But,IMO,these past two weeks have dramatized THAT particular "bad mood" to the point that the good news coming out is starting to not only accumulate validity and momentum(for a bullish stance on "recovery")but a general concensus.Reluctant, but a concensus. It'll stiull be a slog......but the recovery is ON and consumer confidence is returning. It's been such a drama, though.A lot of the bearishness,IMO, has been unjustified and has actually impeded the recovery in a big way.A sel-fulfilling prophecy. That's not to say that one cannot be pragmatic and realistic........but to mull over the "bad-news-ness" while IGNORING the signs of recovery and good news just feeds the fire. I guess we all do that but it's annoying when you can see the recovery.I am in the building trades and can see recovery quite directly......at the grass-roots level.I have a "Home Depot" gauge that I have used to measure the recovery and I can definitely tell you of the dry times when there wasn't hardly ANY people in the store except customer service reps who were actually greeting you at the door and in the store with a smile!!!!(That lasted a coupla weeks and was when the economy was at it's worst.......like around March. They(customer service reps)quickly disappreared as soon as things picked up:the quality of service and friendliness there is inversely proportional to the economics of the country,i.e. if the economy is good and getting better....the customer service gets from bad to worse! And,conversely, if the customer service improves.......then that a DEFINITE sign of the economy going DOWN!!! Believe me.......I know Home Depot!I damn near live there!!!(That's why I love the self-serve check-out machines:great customer service experience there cuz there's no bad experience.Just you and your own needs handled! Anyways.......I forgot what the topic was which is a sure sign that I've gotten off it! glta, deej (Home Depot............don't get me started!) Rating :
