A good sign that the stock held strong despite the latest whacky AF article. Given the article early this week had already spooked investors who fell for it, all the more impressive the price held fairly steady in a panicky setting despite the AF repeat. Weak hands are pretty much shaken out, resistance is strong.

Nothings for sure when dealing with a small biotech, but I feel very good about owning the stock. Whats the worst that can happen? The 301 trial also fails. Will that be the end of CHTP? Nope. The drug has been around since the late 80s, has an extensive track record and proven safety--no issues there whatsoever. The 302 failed because of some unexpected placebo effect, NOT because of the drug. CHTP will repeat the study, this time drawing on what they learned from 302 and 301, the drug will get approved and the longs will be smiling. Thats pretty damn low risk. But I dont expect the 301 study to fail. The CEO has already said it was designed a bit differently. Also gotta figure they wont see the fluky placebo effect again. This is without any FDA approved redesign. As is. AF be damned. And why might the FDA be amenable to approving the alternative endpoints for 301? Because they have a good relationship with CHTP, because they were in on the 302 design, because the drug has a rock solid safety history, because there was a lot of positive data in the 302 study and because of the nature of NOH making the picking of an endpoint more subjective than most diseases.
