Have been wondering why Obama nor McCain didn't just say NO

to Bailing out these Bankers in the first place!

If we did away with 4 or 5 big banks in the first place not all would have fallen.

If the system is this precarious AFTER Bernanke & Paulson have bailed out Fannie, Freddie and damn near Nationalized the rest & spent more than 1 Trillion so far.

What happens if this too fails & the house of cards Worldwide falls? Seems like we are drowning the banks in $$$ and getting nothing in return.

No promise of restoration of lending.

No restraint on the bankers part from using the $ given to go buy other banks or give to their current workers for retention bonuses.

No restraint on their part for exec salaries or perks!

Yet they came to the US Treasury Secy and made the case for a Bailout? WTF?
