MIPS math: $147 mil = $22 mil      8-May-09 10:08 am    
So MIPS is selling Chipidea for $22 million--which they bought just over two years ago for $147 million.

Good lesson for CEVA lest they had any notion of making any sort of sizeable acquisition. That said, I think they already have a decent understanding of how acquisitions that look enticing on paper will often end up just being a mess in reality.

With their stock still sub $8 I'd say the best use of their cash is still in sticking with the share buyback.
