Has anyone noticed how much easier credit has become in the MLP and REIT space? The number of deals getting done both debt and equity has been amazing, and on reasonable terms. When XTEX made the deal with the devil (the banks) they didn't have a choice. They have dramatically improved their situation since then and the market is very different today than it was just six months ago. How many predicted XTEX would accomplish what they have so far? They have valuable assets and a quality franchise. They will get financing because they have a viable business that can support it. They are executing beyond what the market gave them credit for. I believe that will continue. All signs point to a rapidly improving situation for a company that was written off for all but dead by much of the market. It wasn't that long ago that this was a highly regarded company. Some bad luck, bad planning and some public missteps put them in a tough spot in a hurry, but they have shown the ability to fight their way back. They are not back yet, but I think we will see on Friday they are one finance deal away! I say they pull it off sooner rather than later!
